That’s what New Jersey Senate president Richard J. Codey said yesterday in reaction to the fallout over the controversy regarding the behavior of Jet fans on the Gate D ramp at Giants Stadium.
The fallout over the story has been widespread. It was all over sports talk radio, mentioned on numerous websites and blogs (including this [...]

Today’s New York Times features a story on the boorish and disgusting behavior by large bunches of drunk and rowdy guys who hover around the ramps at Gate D at Giants Stadium and proceed to harass women to bare their breasts as well as throwing things at other fans, even kids.
What makes this even worse [...]
The fourth quarter has been the bane of the Jets’ 2008 season. They have been outscored 91-38, and we can recite the games they’ve blown by heart.
So, when Redskins running back Clinton Portis came out and said that when his team was down by 14 points in the fourth quarter against the Jets, he “felt [...]
It seems that Jets owner Woody Johnson needs to have permission to land his helicopter near the team’s practice facility at Hofstra University.
The story is that when Johnson took his helicopter to the facility over the summer, Hofstra officials weren’t sure if it was allowed for him to do so. They later checked with Hempstead [...]
Since there is no Jet game today because of the bye week, we are spared for at least one week the disappointment and anguish of watching our favorite football team struggle through another contest.
So the question is: What do we do today to fill in the gap?
Obviously, there are many good games to choose from [...]
As we move now toward this Sunday’s game against the Redskins, let’s not forget that former Jet Pete Kendall will be the starting left guard for Washington.
Of course, we certainly remember the histrionics between Kendall and the Jet management, including Coach Mangini and GM Mike Tannenbaum. Kendall wanted his contract restructured and was quite vocal [...]

Bill Belichick has been fined $500,000, the Pats have been fined $250,000, and the big-ticket items [...]

Apparently, this whole spying incident perpetrated by a Patriots employee on the Jets this past Sunday has pissed off NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to the point where he is ready to impose some stiff fines on the Pats. There’s going to be a teleconference this Friday whereby the Pats will be requested to explain their [...]

News out of Patriots camp is that Tom Brady had to miss some practice time yesterday because his right shoulder was bothering him.
Jet fans have to be skeptical about this–Brady’s name is almost always on the weekly injuy report, so I wouldn’t be game-planning for Matt Cassel just yet.
Plus, Bill Belichick could be making an [...]

I ran across this item the other day and it sort of made me feel sad for my all-time favorite sports hero, and I’m sure for many others as well, Number 12–Joe Willie Namath.
According to the New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy gossip column, Joe’s 16-year-old daughter Olivia recently gave birth to a baby [...]
