Of course, the Jets will find it hard to explain themselves after they were the ones to break the Spygate story, so it really doesn’t make any sense to compare the two scenarios here. The fact of the matter is that Coach Belichick hates the Jets and Mangini, and I’m sure there’s no love lost in the opposite direction either. It’s going to be a hostile atmosphere no matter what, so if the Jets are going to have any hope of being somewhat competitive in this game they’re going to have to focus on the Xs and Os and forget about Spygate and the visceral hatred between the two coaches.
