Today’s New York Times features a story on the boorish and disgusting behavior by large bunches of drunk and rowdy guys who hover around the ramps at Gate D at Giants Stadium and proceed to harass women to bare their breasts as well as throwing things at other fans, even kids.

This game has the potential to be an ugly one. For starters, the weather here in New Jersey is typical November weather–chilly, damp, and cloudy. So, it doesn’t look like we’ll see an aerial circus today, but you never can tell.
The fourth quarter has been the bane of the Jets’ 2008 season. They have been outscored 91-38, and we can recite the games they’ve blown by heart.

It was kind of nice to have a week off from getting agita over the Jets, wasn’t it? I still can’t believe that Peyton Manning threw SIX interceptions last night, but that’s the breaks.
Since there is no Jet game today because of the bye week, we are spared for at least one week the disappointment and anguish of watching our favorite football team struggle through another contest.
