Pete KendallAs we move now toward this Sunday’s game against the Redskins, let’s not forget that former Jet Pete Kendall will be the starting left guard for Washington.

Of course, we certainly remember the histrionics between Kendall and the Jet management, including Coach Mangini and GM Mike Tannenbaum. Kendall wanted his contract restructured and was quite vocal about it, and the Jets didn’t budge. And who can forget the controversy during the beginning of training camp when Kendall was “mistakenly” placed in the rookies’ dorm area.

Kendall says he harbors no hard feelings against the Jets, but you can bet he’ll be looking to get outside on a sweep and look to knock over some bodies. Plus, the ‘Skins are coming off the 52-7 loss against the Patriots, and they’re going to be out for blood.
