  • Marshawn LynchWith rookie Trent Edwards starting at quarterback for the injured J.P. Losman, we can expect to see Marshawn Lynch carry the ball quite a bit on Sunday. Of course, Buffalo Bills running backs have been a major thorn in our sides over the past few years–Willis McGahee made a living out of torturing us twice a season for a couple of years. The Jets d-line has to stop the run since they’re not having any success generating a pass rush. Look for a heavy dose of Lynch with some deep balls to Lee Evans sprinkled into the mix.
  • A Jets season-ticket holder has filed a $184 million class-action lawsuit against the Patriots and Bill Belichick for “deceiving customers” over this whole spying incident from Week 1. Obviously, Carl Mayer (the season-ticket holder) has nothing better to do than file another frivolous lawsuit. Get a life, Carl, and go crawl back under the rock you came from. Knucklehead…
  • Joe Namath was named one of the ten worst athletes who ever ventured into the entertainment world. In fact, Joe Willie was ranked #2 (Shaquille O’Neal was #1). Granted, Joe Willie’s move career, which included “C.C. and Company” (co-starring Ann-Margret) didn’t exactly wow people at the box office, but Joe Willie is at his best when he’s being Joe Willie. So he’s not a song-and-dance man…I’ll take his rocket arm anytime.
