  • D'Brickashaw FergusonFish linebacker Zach Thomas is out due to the effects of a concussion he suffered last week. His absence should make it a bit easier for Thomas Jones to find some running room if the o-line can open holes for him.
  • The Jets have a lot invested in D’Brickashaw Ferguson–left tackles often have an inordinate amount of the spotlight heaped on them, especially because they have to protect a right-handed quarterback’s blind side. If they fail, there goes your quarterback, and there goes your franchise. Ferguson hasn’t lived up to the incredible hype yet, but all indications are that he is improving and should be a cornerstone on the Jets o-line for the next 10 seasons.
  • Dolphins coach Cam Cameron says that running back Ronnie Brown will get the majority of carries on offense this Sunday. He’s never been known as a workhorse back, but he’s got good moves and he can catch the ball out of the backfield, so the Jets’ linebacker corps had better be on their toes.
