Reports are suggesting that the Jets are looking at Keydrick Vincent, formerly of the Ravens, as a possible replacement for the departed (and not dearly) Pete Kendall. Apparently, talks are going on between the team and Vincent’s reps, but no one is saying anything for public consumption.
Well, that’s a relief! After suffering a calf strain a few weeks ago, Thomas Jones has pretty much been MIA for the preseason. However, Coach Mangini said yesterday that TJ will be ready for the opener against the Patriots, and that certainly is good news.
I ran across this item the other day and it sort of made me feel sad for my all-time favorite sports hero, and I’m sure for many others as well, Number 12–Joe Willie Namath.
OK fellow Jets fans, we have to get this out on the table. |
